This is a big city and for those who have not been here before even looking at a Bangkok Map might not be too much help to pre-determine their hotel location. In terms of where the most popular and best hotels in Bangkok are located, the city is divided in seven major districts. These include Sukhumvit, Silom, Siam, Prathunam, Chitlom \ Ploenchit, Sathorn and Riverside. However, no matter in which part of the city you stay, navigating this metropolis has been made easy with the introduction of the BTS sky train and MRT under ground rail system. There is almost nowhere you cannot reach by using the cheap and convenient mode of transport. Lately Bangkok also saw the arrival of the airport rail link and utilising the city line allows you to also travel to the more far reaches of the city.
