Suvarnabhumi International Airport is the main entry point for visitors to the Kingdom and transfer from here to most city hotels takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour depending on traffic conditions. During peak traffic it can in fact even take longer. Thankfully, the new airport rail link has created a cheap, air conditioned and faster alternative to traveling by road.

If you need to know how to get to Bangkok from the airport we trust our brief explanation below will be some help. Alternatively, contact us for advice or even better yet, allow us to arrange your transfers in advance and have one of our friendly staff wait for you upon your arrival to whisk you away in the air-conditioned comfort of a private mini van. Should you wish to travel limousine style all the top 5 star hotels in Bangkok will be ready at your service with the latest model BMW's, Mercedes and Camry's to transfer you in style.

Taxis

As you exit through the security check point the first transfer service you will be greeted with is the Limousine Taxi Service booth. It is impossible to miss. This is not the cheapest option and will set you back around 2 500 Baht, but if you want to travel in style, it is the best option. Just outside the airport terminal you will immediately spot several taxi operators available at a much lessor fee. It will not be a Toyota Camry you travel in, but if a Corolla suffice this is maybe a more realistic option as far as price go's.

Airport Rail Link

You could buy a ticket for the airport rail link inside the airport terminal on the ground floor. Here you would have two options, The city line which stops at all stations with the last stations and also connecting with the BTS sky train. This allows you to travel by rail to almost any location within the city. The second being the much faster express line which does not stop at all stations and terminates at Makassan station where you can once again link up with the BTS skytrain to travel to all other destinations within the city. The express line's travel time is approximately 15 minutes as apposed to the 40 minutes of the city line.

Airport Shuttle Bus Service

Your final option would be to utilize the airport's shuttle bus service connecting you to almost all first class hotels in Bangkok. For more information, please contact the airport shuttle bus services direct on +66 02 132 1888
