Pattaya is located on the south coast facing the Gulf of Thailand, less than two hours drive south-east of Bangkok and getting here is the easiest thing in the world. Even if it is your first visit and you are not sure exactly where Pattaya is in relation to Bangkok, you can simply buy a bus ticket at Ekkamai Bus Station in Bangkok, get a mini van at Victory Monument sky train station, get a private taxi or even a train ticket.
If you need advice with transfers or information on where to stay in Pattaya, simply contact us, we will be delighted to be of service. The city's close proximity to Bangkok makes it the ideal seaside resort town if you are visiting the capital and have limited time for a beach break.
However, with world class 5 star hotels and luxury beach resort accommodation, endless recreation and vibrant nightlife, many visitors make this their primary holiday destination. Another 2 hours further south there are of course many other popular tourist locations such as Koh Chang and Koh Samet. If you therefore wish to see multiple locations with one following on the other, Pattaya is right in the middle. From here you can travel another two hours by road until you reach Ban Phe in Rayong. From here you can buy a boat ticket for transfer to the islands.
