No matter what information you require, whether it is to know where is Phi Phi, how to get here or when the best time is to go, our team is ready to assist you with friendly service. As a Thailand based operation, our superior knowledge will be greatly to your advantage and we take pleasure in sharing useful information to all visitors to assist with your travels in any way possible.
This beautiful island is located 90 minutes by boat from the east coast of Phuket in Phan Nga Bay or, 90 minutes by boat south of Krabi. To get here, you will need to buy a ticket from either a tour operator in Phuket or Krabi depending where you are coming from, or you can buy ticket at Chaofa Pier in Krabi and at the Ao Por Grand Marina where boats depart from in Phuket.
Looking at the map of the island, its main entry point is in the southern bay of Tonsai. Tonsai is also the islands commercial hub with a multitude of shops, vendors, restaurants, bars and quite an active nightlife. The area also sees the largest concentration of cheap accommodation in Phi Phi and a selection of mid range options.
Not exactly being a large island, a five minute walk brings you to the opposite Loh Dalam Bay which feature a beautiful white sandy beach and while in close proximity to Tonsai, not as much in the buzz and more relaxed. This beach is also home to one of our featured hotels, namely Phi Phi Island Cabana.
If you really want to experience the best of the island, peace, tranquility, awesome views and a truly exotic, tropical island feel, consider staying in resorts like Zeavola on Laem Tong Beach to the north east of the island and close to a sea gypsy village. It offers private pool villa suites nestled amid lush jungle and offer breathtaking views of the pristine secluded beach and Andaman Ocean. Another fantastic option if you want to escape the crowds and share a pristine beachfront location with as few other as possible is Outrigger Island Village Resort offering luxury island styled villas also with their own private pools and amazing ocean views.
Located between Zeavola and Outrigger is Holiday Inn, enjoying the same enchanting surroundings, majestic views and and quieter beach, but for many of us much more affordable than its two neighbours.
Should you however require something a little more active and walking distance from the major island vibe, consider the Island Cabana Resort in Loh Dalam. You will not feel secluded, all the attractions of the island will be within walking distance and yet you will be outside earshot of nightlife noise.
